These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DeckPlanet (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and you must self-attest to meeting our minimum age requirement when you create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users;
• Upload content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the normal operation of the Service;
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

3. User-Generated Content

The Service allows you to create and share content, including decks, collections, want lists, and comments ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting User Content, you grant DeckPlanet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate and provide the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the necessary rights to post it. We may remove User Content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

4. Intellectual Property

The DeckPlanet name, logo, website, and software are owned by DeckPlanet and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Card names, card text, card images, game rules, and other trading-card-game intellectual property referenced or displayed on DeckPlanet belong to their respective game publishers and rights holders, not to DeckPlanet. DeckPlanet is an independent, unofficial companion platform for deck building and card database browsing, and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any game publisher unless explicitly stated.

5. Premium Membership and Patreon

DeckPlanet may offer premium features to users who support the project through a linked Patreon membership. Premium access is tied to the status of your Patreon membership and may be granted, adjusted, or revoked based on that membership status. Billing and payment for any Patreon membership is handled entirely by Patreon and is subject to Patreon's own terms; DeckPlanet does not process or store your payment information.

6. Termination

You may stop using the Service, or request deletion of your account, at any time via your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in unlawful conduct, or posed a risk to the Service or other users.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DeckPlanet and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and, for material changes, we will provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
